The last month of markets has been a true blur—in the best, most heart-filling way. I wrapped up all of my local Atlanta shows back in October, which always feels a little bittersweet. I love being close to home, but this time of year my schedule shifts and everything becomes out of town. So for the past few weeks, it’s been me, my suitcase, my display bins, and a whole lot of airport snacks.
One recent highlight was my very first time selling with Markets for Makers down in Jacksonville. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it was my debut with them, but wow—what a great weekend. I got to meet so many new customers (hi if you’re reading this!) and it was such a welcoming crowd. There’s something energizing about popping into a new city and connecting with people who’ve just discovered your work.
And then there was Seattle. I was there just last weekend, and it was an absolute whirlwind—chaotic, beautiful, and just the right amount of exhausting. I had so much fun meeting everyone who stopped by my booth, and in the most bananas twist of fate, I met another artist named Karli Ingersoll. Same last name, same profession… I mean, what are the odds? The creative world is tiny in all the ways.
If that wasn’t enough travel chaos, I also flew to Cincinnati and back in a single day to pop up again at Crafty Supermarket. Yes—same day. I landed, set up, sold my heart out, packed everything back up, and got right back on a plane. And honestly? Worth it. The crowd there showed up for me in such a big way, especially with this being my second year selling with them. I’m already hoping I can make it back next year.
And the travel continues! This weekend I’ll be back in Asheville with Big crafty—truly one of my favorite events I do all year. I have some exciting things up my sleeves for this show, and I can’t wait to share them with everyone who stops by. From there, it’s on to my very first Porter Flea in Nashville, which I’ve heard amazing things about.
I’ll wrap up 2025 in Chicago with Renegade Craft, the city I’ve visited and sold in more than anywhere else this year. Ending the season there just feels right—like a full-circle moment with one of the best crowds around.
As for the holidays, things are in full swing over here. I’ve got more markets, custom portraits, card orders, and shipping deadlines galore. If you’re planning to shop small this season, now is the time—I’m doing my very best Santa impression and sending everything out as quickly as possible.
Thanks for following along during this wild season. Whether you’ve visited me in Atlanta, Jacksonville, Seattle, Cincinnati, Asheville, Nashville, Chicago, or somewhere in between, I’m so grateful for you. Here's to a festive and full December! 🎄✨
