2025: A Year of Markets, Miles, and Momentum

looking back on 2025, the word that keeps coming up is busy, in the best and hardest ways. This year was filled with early mornings, long days on my feet, packed cars, and weekends spent traveling to markets across cities and states. I showed up a lot, sometimes more than I probably should have, and I learned just how much that kind of consistency can add up.

Markets continued to be a huge part of my business this year. Being able to connect with people face to face, talk about my work, and watch someone fall in love with a piece in real time is still one of my favorite parts of doing this. Selling in new cities and returning to familiar ones reminded me how meaningful these in-person moments are, not just for sales, but for building community.

Looking at the numbers from the year tells a really clear story. In 2025, I sold thousands of individual items, with stickers and greeting cards leading the way by volume. Those small, affordable pieces flew off the table again and again, and continue to be such an important entry point into my work.

At the same time, art prints ended up being my top category by revenue this year. Seeing people choose to invest in my artwork in that way is still incredibly affirming and never something I take for granted. Pins, keychains, magnets, and other categories all played their part too, each one helping keep this business moving forward.

Beyond the big categories, 2025 was also a year of quieter wins. I launched new products and watched them slowly find their audience. New retailers began carrying my work, longtime stockists reordered, and online orders stayed consistent even between busy market weekends. I was also honored to receive a small business grant, which felt like a meaningful vote of confidence during a year of a lot of behind-the-scenes work.

Behind every number is a real person. Someone who stopped by my booth, placed an online order, told a friend about my work, or came back again months later. That kind of support is what makes this business possible, and it is something I think about often.

Ending the year, I feel tired, proud, and deeply thankful. I worked really hard in 2025, and I am proud of what this year held. Looking ahead, my goal is fewer markets and more intention, while continuing to build something sustainable that allows both the business and myself to grow.

Thank you to everyone who supported my work this year, whether in person or online. I am so grateful to carry that support with me into what comes next.
