Just got back from my trip to San Francisco, and wow—what a whirlwind of a weekend! I’m still riding the high from such an incredible show and the energy y’all brought to Fort Mason. Seriously, what a venue. Nestled right on the water, with the most breathtaking views of the Bay—I had to keep reminding myself I wasn’t on vacation, I was working! (Kind of.)
The crowd really showed up, and one of my favorite parts of the weekend was hearing you tell me all about your cats. I live for this. Squid and Soup? Iconic. Thank you for the stories, the laughs, and for supporting my work—it really means the world.
Outside of the show, I was in full-on “design nerd on the loose” mode. I could not get enough of the houses in SF. I mean…come on. The colors, the details, the personality of every little street. As you can probably tell from the 400 photos I snapped (see below), I was completely obsessed.
Food-wise, let me just say: the Mission District delivered. I had some bomb ass tacos that I am still thinking about, dreaming about, telling strangers about. Life-changing, honestly.
And because I don’t know how to sit still, I walked over 7 miles on Monday exploring different neighborhoods, popping into cute shops, and soaking it all in before heading back to the airport.
Now that I'm back home, I’m staying local for a bit. My August shows are all in Atlanta (catch me around town!), and then I’ll be back on a plane in September for my next big stop—Chicago! Already looking forward to that one.
Until then, enjoy some of my favorite snaps from the trip below. 💌
Thanks again, San Francisco—you were real good to me.
