feels like summer

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time working behind the scenes on the business side of things. Through my grant program, I’ve been working with a mentor, which has been incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to finally getting some of my spreadsheets, planning, and organizational systems together. It’s not always the most glamorous part of running a small business, but it’s been really rewarding to feel more grounded and intentional going into the rest of the year.

One of my biggest goals this year has been doing fewer shows and focusing more on growing my wholesale accounts instead. As much as I love markets and getting to meet people in person, I’ve been trying to build a more sustainable balance for myself and the business long term.

At the same time, I’ve also been deep in prep for my very first stationery festival in NYC at the end of July, which has meant lots of printing, planning, packaging, and late-night design tweaking. It feels exciting (and a little surreal) to get everything ready for such a big event.

Alongside market prep, I’ve been working on a few other projects and slowly creating some new designs that I can’t wait to share soon. I’ve been trying to give myself space to experiment a bit more lately, which always ends up leading to some of my favorite work.

If you want to shop in person this summer, here’s where I’ll be next:
